EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

February 24, 2026

Effingham City Police arrested 25 year old Kaleb A. Godert of Teutopolis for driving while license revoked. Kaleb was given an NTA and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 22 year old Manuel F. Cardenas Vargas of Woodside, NY for 3 counts of theft and possession of burglary tools. Manuel was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 19 year old Joendrix E. Gaduan of Denver, CO for 3 counts of theft and possession of burglary tools. Joendrix was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31 year old Dustin W. Higgs of Mason for domestic battery. Dustin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
Illinois State Police arrested 29 year old Mario L. Echols of Holland, MI for DUI drugs, speeding 26-35mph over limit, possession of 30-100g of cannabis, and possession of adult use cannabis outside approved container by driver. Mario was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 25 year old Kanen L. Finke of Effingham for retail theft. Kanen was given an NTA and was released.
Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Emily S. Baker of Indianapolis for speeding and driving while license suspended. Emily was given an NTA and was released.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Tasha M. Masters of Beecher City for failure to register as a violent offender against youth. Tasha was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
