Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The 708 Board met on Wednesday and went over a few requests for funding and updated language in the by-laws.
Samantha Hicks with ROSC also stopped by to explain what ROSC does, and explained that she also works closely with Hour House. She gave some more information on both programs.
The Board opted to carry over the Treasurer Report to look into the numbers more, and will revisit it at the next meeting. The 708 Board then:
- Rejected a $2500 request from an Epilepsy Foundation from southern IL
- Approved a request from Heartland Human Services for $9250
The Board also selected 2026 meeting dates and updated their information from the County Board about the 708 Board now getting equal funding as the 377 Board.
