Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- On Tuesday December 2, 2025, the Effingham Catholic Charities facility, located at 1502 Fayette Ave., sustained significant damage after a vehicle accidently collided with the building. We are grateful to God that there were no injuries to anyone in the building or the vehicle. The damage was limited to the office’s reception area. At this time, the building has been cleaned up and secured and permanent repairs have been scheduled. Effingham Catholic Charities remains open for business.
