- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48 year old Laura K. Hobby of Knoxville, TN for possession of <5g of meth. Laura was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51 year old Kevin W. Ashbrook of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth. Kevin was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old McKenzie S. Stonecipher of Smyrna, TN for a Murfreesboro, TN probation violation warrant for bringing contraband into a penal institution. McKenzie was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Michael I. Brown of Bloomington for DUI alcohol. Michael was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 46 year old Aaron D. wright of Effingham for criminal damage to property. Aaron was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Illinois State Police arrested 40 year old Japheth R. Edmonds of Tuscola for DU alcohol, improper lane usage, and speeding over limit. Japheth was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Madrian P. West of Danville for DUI alcohol and possession of adult use cannabis in passenger area of vehicle by driver. Madrian was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham City Police arrested 51 year old Joseph M. McConkey of Brownstown for obstructing a police officer. Joseph was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 25 year old Collin T. Kreke of Effingham for DUI alcohol, illegal transportation of open alcohol by driver, and failure to signal when required. Collin was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 23 year old America L. Patton of Effingham for DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with concentration in blood or breath .08 or more, improper lane usage, and speeding. America was given an NTA and was released.
November 24, 2025
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Debreon A. Tyler of Indianapolis, IN for a Vermillion County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended and a Vermillion County FTA warrant for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Debreon posted bond and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 35 year old Tiara M. Cooper of Indianapolis, IN for a Vermillion County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Tiara posted bond and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 31 year old Stephen T. Andres of Effingham for aggravated domestic battery and resisting or obstructing a police officer. Stephen was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
