Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Officials are advising people to destroy a toy distributed nationwide over lead contamination concerns.
According to the The Consumer Product Safety Commission, In Motion Design is recalling more than 98-thousand units of its “Evermore Surprise Eggs” made in China as the toy airplanes contained within the eggs pose a threat to children. The toys were sold at 7-Eleven, Horizon, Speedway and Murphy stores nationwide from March 2025 through to April 2025, however, no injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with the recall at this time.
Consumers are encouraged to stop using the toys immediately and contact In Motion Design for a refund.
