- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested James M. Conant of Troy for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. James was released per judge’s orders.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56 year old Linda R. Wood of St. Elmo for a Fayette County FTA warrant for contempt of court. Linda posted bond and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38 year old Roberta L. Ballinger of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail sentence for 50 days DFD. Roberta was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 57 year old William L. Grabel of Tolsa, OK for a federal probation warrant for domestic assault and battery causing great bodily harm and disrupting an emergency telephone call. William was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Christina L. Belisle of Hoopston, IL for an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal damage to government property <$500. Christina was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
June 1, 2025
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Cody D. Wimberly of Patoka for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for DUI. Cody was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 22 year old Nicholas T. Hastings of Effingham for driving without valid driver’s license. Nicholas was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 50 year old Andres Andino of Effingham for failure to register as a violent offender. Andres was given an NTA and was released.
- Illinois State Police arrested 44 year old Tiffany M. Snow of Effingham for DUI alcohol, transportation or possession of open alcohol by driver, and improper lane usage (crossing lane boundary unsafely). Tiffany was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 27 year old Trenton B. Beckler of Effingham for domestic battery. Trenton was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
June 2, 2025
- Effingham City Police arrested 41 year old Justin J. Angle for a Crawford County FTA warrant for criminal trespass to real property and a Wayne County FTA warrant for resisting and criminal trespass to real property. Justin was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
