
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Visit the Suzette Brumleve Effingham Public Library from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 20, to learn about caring for houseplants, the library’s gardening resources and to swap plants with others.
Sreelakshmi Suresh, University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator, will participate in the program by offering tips for houseplant care. Lisa Hutson, Effingham Public Library programming coordinator, will share what resources the library offers those with or without green thumbs.
Participants are encouraged to bring plant starts to share.
Registration is required; a library card is not necessary to attend this free event.
