UPDATE: The boil order has been lifted as of 11am Tuesday, September 27th.
The water department had to EXTEND the area for this mornings water outage. Those also effected are:
- West Reynolds St. from S. Walnut St. to S. Jackson St.
- South Church St. from W. Decatur St. to Dead End
- West Decatur St. from S. Walnut St. to S. Lafayette St.
- South Lafayette St. from W. Decatur St. to Martin St.
- West Curtis St. from S. Jackson St. to 306 W. Curtis St.
Once the water is restored, there will be a boil order until further notice.
Customers in the effected area are encouraged to treat all water for drinking or culinary purposes by bringing it to a rolling boil for at least five (5) minutes.

The Water Department will have the water shut off for a brief time around 8:00 AM, Monday, September 26th 2022, to install a new water line on South Walnut Street. The area effected includes:
- West Washington St. from Stanley Ave to South Jackson St
- South Lafayette St. from W. Decatur to Rt 33, excluding Pizza Man’s Building and the Snyder Building
- South Church St. from W. Washington St. to W. Decatur St.
- South Walnut St. from Rt. 33 to W. Decatur
- Liberty Ave. from Rt 33 to W. DecaturThe effected area will be under boil order starting at 8 a.m. Monday until further notice.Changes/updates will be posted to our Facebook page as they occur.
