Stewardson, IL-(Effingham Radio)-State Representative Adam Niem0612erg (R-Dieterich) says the only candidate in the 54th Senate District race who will advocate for conservative values and who will fight for working families is tax fighter and CPA Don Debolt.
“Voters can count on Don Debolt to never waiver when it comes to the values and principles of our party,” Niemerg said. “He will not vote to raise taxes unlike his opponent who voted to double the state’s gas tax. He will support parental rights, the right to life for the unborn and our right to keep and bear arms. Don Debolt will advocate for the reforms we need to turn Illinois around. I call on voters in the 54th District to join me in supporting conservative Don Debolt for Senate.”
Debolt said he is looking forward to going to Springfield to work with legislators such as Adam Niemerg and Blaine Wihour (Wilhour has also endorsed Don Debolt).
“Illinois is moving in the wrong direction, but we can turn our state around,” Debolt said. “What we need is new leadership and more lawmakers like Adam Niemerg and Blaine Wilhour who will put principles above politics. Like, Adam Niemerg, I will never compromise my values. We need spending reform – not tax increases. I am the only candidate in this race taxpayers can depend on to advocate for them.”
Don Debolt’s life is centered around faith and family. He is a proud conservative Republican, a small business owner, and a C.P.A. for over 45 years. Don is running for State Senate because he is concerned with the future of southern Illinois. Springfield is broken, and high taxes and extreme policies push our children and grandchildren out of state. Don and his wife Linda live in Stewardson; they have been blessed with two sons and five grandchildren. The primary election is June 28th.
