WHAT:
- Single Vehicle Traffic Crash with Injuries
WHERE:
- Interstate 70 westbound near Milepost 108, Cumberland County
WHEN:
- April 8, 2022 at 2:24 a.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1 – Gray 2020 Freightliner Truck Tractor Semi-Trailer
DRIVER:
- Unit 1 – Gurlal Singh, a 25-year-old male from Ozone Park, NY – Transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
PRELIMINARY:
- Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near Milepost 108 in Cumberland County. For unknown reasons, Unit 1 left the roadway to the left, crossed through the grass median and struck a concrete bridge support on the westbound side of the interstate. The driver of Unit 1 was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No further information will be disseminated.
CHARGES:
- Singh was cited for Improper Lane Use.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
