Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- The White House will send out free rapid COVID tests to Americans, a plan that was delayed due to testing supply.
A Biden administration official said the rollout is being done in a way that doesn’t disrupt the existing over-the-counter test. Biden admitted last month that efforts had fallen short, suggesting the administration didn’t realize what a strong surge was coming up.
The program will add an additional 500 million tests to the U.S. market.
