Illinois Region 6 rolling test positivity was 2.2% through March 23, while Effingham County was 3.3% for the same period.
With the recent increase in cases, the Effingham County Health Department would like to remind the community that it has opened up its COVID vaccine clinics to Illinois residents aged 18 and over. It has a first dose clinic coming up on Tuesday, March 30, from 11 to 6 that can be booked online. Go to www.effcohealth.org to find the appointment booking link.
