Kewanee, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Late fees at libraries can add up. That’s what one Illinois woman found out as she paid one so high, it was recorded in the Guinness World Record books. Emily Cannellos-Simms paid over 345-dollars after she returned “Day and Deeds” to the Kewanee Public Library.
Ironically, she never checked the book out. It was found in her mother’s house and had a due date of April 15th, 1955.
