September 8, 2019
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance at the 200 block of N. 3rd Street in Clay City. Upon further investigation, Zachary Schnautz, 38, Clay City and Richard W. Sharp, 58, Clay City, were cited for Clay City Ordinance Fighting. Both were released to appear in Clay County Court.
September 10, 2019
- Brittany Highsmith, 27, Rinard, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor. Bond set at $3,000.00(10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She appeared in Clay County Court and was released.
September 11, 2019
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Myles J. Bush-King, 26, Flora, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set at $25,000.00(10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Anthony Fisher, 23, Louisville, for Domestic Battery. He appeared in Clay County Court and was released.
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 9:47 a.m. south of the intersection of South Main Street and Convent Street in Louisville. Apparently Searbine Sharp, 66, Louisville, operating a 2004 Chevrolet and Mary E. Farrar, 63, Louisville, operating a 2004 Ford, were both backing from a private parking area and collided. No injuries reported.
September 12, 2019
- Casie Williams, 32, Flora, was arrested on two outstanding Clay County warrants for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Criminal Trespass to Vehicle and Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set in the amount of $5,500.00 (10%), plus $150.00 warrant fee. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- Joel Waldrop, 25, Fairfield, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Aggravated Battery. He appeared in Clay County Court and was released.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested James T. Lewis, 24, Rinard, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. Lewis also was wanted on an outstanding Clay County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $100.00 cash. He posted bond on both and was released.

- Jamie Wilkin, 41, Clay City, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
September 14, 2019
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Kenneth Mack, 47, Louisville for Theft and Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. He appeared in Clay County court and bond was set in the amount of $75,000.00 (10%). He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
- the Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance at the 100 block of South Main Street in Clay City. Upon further investigation Ronnie Fulk, 42, Noble and Crystal D. Fulk, 47, Clay City were both cited for Clay City Ordinance Disturbing the Peace. Both were released to appear in Clay County Court.
- Danny L. Perry, 47, Flora, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County Contempt warrant. Bond set at $100.00 cash. He posted bond and was released.
September 15, 2019
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Travis Durbin, 22, Effingham, for Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
September 16, 2019
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Christopher S. Britton, 36, Clay City, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Domestic Battery and Battery. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
September 17, 2019
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Johnathan Fopay, 31, Xenia, for Clay County Ordinance Disturbing the Peace. He was given a Notice to Appear in Clay County Court and released.
