Chicago, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois’ governor-to-be is once again talking about raising the starting wage in the state.
Governor-elect J.B. Pritzker yesterday said he’d like to see lawmakers raise the minimum wage within the first six months of his administration.
Pritzker talked about a 15-dollar minimum wage during the campaign.
Pritzker says lawmakers have already approved a higher minimum wage, but Governor Rauner vetoed the idea.
