VANDALIA, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Two people were recently sentenced in the Fayette County Court.
According to a press release from the Fayette County State’s Attorney, 53 year old, Emigdio Penuelas-Medina, of Las Vegas Nevada pled guilty to the offense of possession of a controlled substance on November 14, 2018.
Penuelas-Medina was sentenced by Honorable Kimberly Koester to 12 years, to be served in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Additionally, 27 year old, Hunter Haas, of Vandalia pled guilty to the offense of Criminal Sexual Assault on November 21, 2018.
Haas was sentenced by Honorable Don Sheafor to 48 months, to be served in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
