Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The USDA say Illinois farmers will lead a record soybean harvest this year.
The Department of Agriculture yesterday announced that farmers across the country will bring in four-point-six billion bushels of beans this year.
Illinois farmers will harvest the most, at 688 million bushels.
Iowa farmers will harvest the second most.
The USDA says this year’s corn harvest will be the second largest ever.
