Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois voters are already turning out in record numbers for this year’s midterm elections.
Board of Elections officials said yesterday they’ve received nearly 840-thousand early ballots, compared to just over 790-thousand received in the 2014 midterms.
Officials told the State Journal-Register if the trend continues into Tuesday, it’s possible more Illinois residents will vote in these midterms than in the 2016 presidential election.
