Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Things are improving at Illinois public schools.
That’s at least according to data from the 2018 IllinoisBoard of Education Report Card, which is being released publicly today.
The report shows 75 percent of Illinois students are enrolled in college, which is a record high.
The way schools were graded changed a lot this year as state officials moved away from using standardized test scores and instead focused on whether individual schools are improving year over year.
