High School Volleyball
Several Area teams picked up regional victories on Tuesday
- St. Anthony defeated CHBC 27-29 25-13 25-21 in the Class 1A Dieterich Regional Leading the way for the Bulldogs Abby Stock had 35 assists, Sydney Gibson had 13 kills and Sophie Moore had 12 points.
- Altamont defeated Ramsey 25-13 25-13 in the Class 1A Dieterich Regional Leading the way for Altamont Kuhns had 15 assists, Pemberton had 12 digs and Mette had 6 kills. Altamont improves to 21-13 on the season and advance to play St. Anthony on Thursday for the regional championship.
- Effingham defeated Paris 25-18 25-17 in the 3A Effingham Regional. Leading the way for Effingham Carsyn Fearday had 20 assists, Jacy Boatman had 11 digs and Kiyah Kuhlman had 9 kills. Effingham now advances to the regional championship against Mattoon on Thursday.
- Windsor/Stew-Stras defeated Neoga 25-14 25-13 in the Class 1A Hutsonville Regional. Leading the way for W/SS Hannah Hayes had 26 assists, Megan Schlechte had 20 kills and Carson Cole had 12 digs. W/SS is now 30-6 on the season and advance to the regional championship on Thursday against Okaw Valley.
Junior High Girls Basketball
- St. Anthony split a pair of games against Flora. In the 7th Grade contest St.A defeated Flora 36-16. Scoring for St.Anthony Niemeyer 8, Geen 8, S.Kibler 7, H.Niebrugge 7, Coffin 4 and M. Kibler 2. Scoring for Flora Jennings had 10, Eade and Keeling both had 3.

In the 8th Grade Contest Flora defeated St. Anthony 28-27. Scoring for Flora Osborne had 11, Behnke 9, Eastin 4, Carder and Kitley had 2. Scoring for St.A Fearday, Willenborg and Faber all had 6, Schwing had 5 and Rios had 4.

- The opening round of the 8th Grade NTC tournament got underway Neoga defeated Dieterich 40-30. Scoring for Neoga Johnson had 14, Richards 10, Campbell 9, Eaton 5 and Kenworthy 2. Scoring Dieterich Esker had 17, Miramontes 5, C. Brummer 4, Kinneson and Niemerg both had 2

Action continues tonight as #1 Seed CHBC takes on Neoga at 5:30, Sigel St. Michael takes on Altamont at 6:45 and #2 Seed North Clay takes on SS/W at 8. All games are played at Beecher City.
