Carbondale, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Some leaders at Southern Illinois University are blaming another year of low enrollment, in part, on the school’s former president.
The Southern Illinoisan newspaper yesterday reported on documents that school leaders say show former President Randy Dunn didn’t spend almost a half-million dollars to buy SAT and ACT test results.
The school’s new chancellor for enrollment told the paper that without those results, SIU was a step behind other schools in recruiting.
SIU has seen enrollment fall steadily over the past decade including another double-digit loss this fall.
