CHARLESTON, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A Neoga man was recently arrested for multiple counts of burglary.
According to a press release from the Charleston Police Department, officers were called to the Charleston Walmart on Friday, August 10th for a reported theft.
The next day, they were called to the Verizon Wireless Store at 15 W Lincoln Avenue for another reported theft.
The release states that 28 year old, Dustin R. Drum, of Neoga was observed on surveillance video from Walmart removing two display laptops and a display iPad from the electronics department before leaving the store on August 10th.

Drum was taken into custody in Effingham on the 13th for retail theft and was extradited back to Coles County where he was placed in the Coles County Jail for multiple counts of burglary.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
