Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- One of Illinois’ newest laws bans the sale or trade of ivory.
Governor Bruce Rauner this week signed the plan which makes it a crime to buy, sell, trade, and even have ivory products.
The first offense carries at least a one-thousand-dollar fine, a second offense will cost someone at least five-thousand-dollars.
