Yakle Jr. of Decatur; sisters, Marilyn Birch of Crown Point, IN and Sue Davis of Gilbert, AZ. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Daniel (Nichole) Goebel, whom she practically raised, Alyssa Dukeman, Logan Dukeman, Aryn Yakle and Andrew Yakle. Teresa is also survived by her special great-grandson, Matthew Goebel, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Joann Portwood.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Evergreen Nursing Center for the compassion shown to Teresa.
