Montrose, IL -(Effingham Radio)- An accident that occurred on I-70 eastbound, early this morning, resulted in one person being transported to HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
According to a report from the Illinois State Police, the accident took place at 1:21 a.m., at milepost 105, near the Montrose exit.
The preliminary investigative details indicate that a vehicle driven by 33 year old, Caleb Eugene Imhoff, of Goshen, IN was traveling on I-70 eastbound, near the Montrose exit, when the vehicle left the roadway to the right.
The vehicle then struck a delineator post with its passenger side and came to rest in the right ditch.
The front seat passenger 23 year old, Cathryn Imhoff, of Goshen, IN was transported by ambulance to St. Anthony Hospital with minor injuries.
Caleb Imhoff was issued a citation for improper lane usage.
