EFFINGHAM, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Regional Office of Education for Bond, Christian, Effingham, Fayette, and Montgomery Counties recently hosted their 11th Annual Senior Recognition Banquet for New Approach and Aspire graduating seniors on Thursday, May 10th, at the ROE 3 PD area in Vandalia.
Celebrating their 25th year of service to the five-county area, we were pleased to recognize 31 seniors who will graduate this school year.
Several high schools in the area were represented by graduates including Greenville, Vandalia, Ramsey, Hillsboro, Brownstown, Altamont, Teutopolis, Litchfield, Dieterich, and Effingham.
The evening consisted of a meal for more than 150 students, guests, and school staff.
Each senior was recognized by the classroom teachers.
Special honors were given to graduate Samantha Hill of Vandalia who was the winning recipient of the Jameson Lockart Advancement Fund Scholarship.
