SHELBY COUNTY, IL –(Effingham Radio)- The Shelby County Board is set to meet on Wednesday, May 9th.
During the meeting, the Board will hear from Robin Yockey, CPA, MYBK regarding the annual federal awards compliance audit, Julie Elbert regarding an update on the Historical Society, Freddie Fry on the outlook for tourism in 2018, and Chairman Cruitt to set the compensation for 2018 elected officials.
The Board will then hear from State’s Attorney, Gina Vonderheide regarding a resolution that opposes increasing the age of delinquent minors.
They will also hear from County Highway Engineer, Alan Spesard, regarding multiple items.
These are the Highway Engineer’s Report, request approval of a petition from Lakewood Highway, Windsor Highway, and Cold Spring Highway Commissioners to replace the drainage structures, an agreement to replace a bridge in Rose Township, a resolution to replace the Dump Truck with financing, and a resolution of support for the submittal of the Community Development Block Grant.
The Shelby County Board will meet at 9:00am in Courtroom B.
