EFFINGHAM, IL-(EFFINGHAM RADIO)- The Effingham Unit #40 Board of Education made personnel moves at their meeting on Monday.
During the meeting, the Board hired nineteen individuals, conducted three transfers, accepted four resignations, approved one volunteer, and made one appointment, and approved five leaves of absence.
The Board hired Mary Jo Bushur as a Special Ed Teacher, Josaphine Westendorf as a Paraprofessional, Kim Knierim as an Extended School Year Bus Driver, Denise Willenborg as an Extended School Year Bus Aide, and Aaron Adams as a Social Studies Teacher at Effingham Junior High School.
Additionally, the Board hired fourteen people as 2018 Seasonal Staff.
They are Deb Blankenship, Katrina Eirhart, Teresa Fuesting, Jacob Hammer, Joshua Kinder, Sue Kinkelaar, Darlene Krietemeyer, Peggy Manley, Weston Peno, Parker Seachrist, Brandy Simmons, Logan Smith, Diane Tieffel, and Wiley Wines.
The Board then accepted the transfer of Leah Colclasure as a 7hr Cook at Central, Christin Hartke as a Math Teacher at EJHS, and Jim McElroy as a 4hr Bus Driver.
The Board then accepted four resignations.
These resignations are from Kelsey Baker as a Teacher, Jamie Waldhoff as an EHS Library Clerk, Lindsay Westendorf as an EHS Fall Play Director, and Tyler Semple as the Freshman Boys Basketball Coach.
They also accepted five leaves of absences from Rick Schmidt, Bill Overbeck, Leslie Stuckey, Jaclyn Golding, and Angie Dust.
The Board then approved Lisa Sigg as a volunteer EHS Assistant Basketball Cheer Coach and appointed Aaron Adams as an EHS Assistant Football Coach and JH Boys Track Coach.
