LOUISVILLE, IL-(EFFINGHAM RADIO)- Three people were injured in an accident that occurred two miles south of Louisville on Friday night.
According to a report from the Illinois State Police, the accident occurred on North State Road just east of US 45, two miles south of Louisville at 11:21pm.
The report states that a vehicle driven by 28 year old, William Krantz, of Louisville was travelling westbound on North State Road east of US 45, when the vehicle drove off the roadway to the left into the ditch.
The vehicle then struck a culvert, which caused the vehicle to overturn.
Krantz and his two passengers, 26 year old, Jorie B Fulk, of Olney and 26 year old, Dylan M Willis, of Louisville were ejected from the vehicle and were injured.
Fulk and Willis were airlifted to Carle Hospital, while Krantz was taken to Clay County Hospital.
Krantz was cited for driving while under the influence, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to wear a seatbelt, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Fulk and Willis have pending charges.
