EFFINGHAM, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham Board of Education is set to meet on Monday, April 9th for a Special Board Meeting.
The Board will recognize visitors before recessing to a closed session.
While in closed session, the Board will discuss and take possible action on “the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1), collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(4), and student disciplinary cases 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9).”
The Board will then return to open session to consider the approval of the closed session minutes.
They will then discuss student discipline, personnel, field trips, and the Effingham Junior High School renovation.
The Effingham Board of Education meets at the Unit Office on South Banker Street.
