SPRINGFIELD, IL-(EFFINGHAM RADIO)-The president at the University of Illinois says he wants to keep tuition where it is for the next two years.
U of I President Tim Killeen told state lawmakers yesterday that he wants to continue the school’s tuition freezes.
But Killeen told lawmakers that he’ll need more money from them to make that happen.
The U of I is asking for a ten percent increase in state funding in the new state budget.
