SHELBY COUNTY, IL –(Effingham Radio)- The Shelby County Board is set to meet on Wednesday, April 11th.
During the meeting, the Board will hear from Douglas Harlan, Interim Director of Cooperative Extension.
The Board will then hear from Jared Rowcliffe.
According to the meeting agenda, Rowcliffe will ask for approval of a public transportation ordinance, a resolution certifying the chairman to apply for 5311/DOAP funds, an intergovernmental agreement with Moultrie, Christian, Montgomery, Clay and Fayette counties for public transportation, and a vehicle lease agreement.
The Board will then hear from County Highway Engineer, Alan Spesard regarding the Highway Engineer’s report.
According to the agenda, Spesard will then request approval of petitions from Lakewood Highway Commissioner and Todds Point Highway Commissioner for a drainage structure replacement, a resolution for funding the bridge replacement in Richland Township, and an agreement with IDOT for the bridge replacement.
The Board will also hear Chairman appointments.
These are Gergeni, Coffman, and Durbin to the Cooperative Extension Committee, Robert Bridgman to the Todds Point/Pickaway Drainage, and Fred Killam to the Board of Appeals.
The Shelby County Board will meet at 9:00am in Courtroom B.
