Effingham, Ill. (Chicago, Ill.) – Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner was one of the first people to get a look at Apple’s new iPad designed for classrooms.
The governor’s office was at the launch of the new iPad that happened at Lane Tech High School about 11 a.m. this morning.
Apple watchers expect the new iPad to be lower cost and part of a push to get school leaders to consider Apple products in their classrooms.
Apple CEO Tim Cook will then tape a one hour special at the school that will talk about how he thinks Apple can ‘revolutionize’ the world.
