The Clay County Circuit Court recently issued an arrest warrant for an Edgewood man in connection with a residential burglary that occurred earlier this month.
According to a press release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, a warrant was issued on March 19th from 25 year old, Wade A Webster, of Edgewood for Residential Burglary. The release states that on March 7th, the Sheriff’s Office received reports of a residential burglary in the Larkinsburg Township. The release states, “that unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole several items including a firearm.” The Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and was able to recover several of the items and the firearm. The bond on the arrest warrant was set for $50,000.
Webster is currently incarcerated at the Effingham County Jail for offenses in Effingham County. The Clay County State’s Attorney’s Office, Effingham Police Department, and Effingham County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Clay County Sheriff’s Department with this incident.
All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
