(Springfield, IL) — Don’t be surprised if you see a question about legal, recreational marijuana on the fall ballot. The Illinois Senate yesterday approved the non-binding advisory question. Supporters say they want to gauge public support for whether the legislature should allow adults over 21-years-old to be able to buy pot in the state. But critics say the question is more about getting people to the polls in November.
