Effingham, Ill. – Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation is partnering with Forefront to bring “Events that Raise Money” (a fundraising event training seminar) to Effingham.
The seminar was previously scheduled for January 12, but has been rescheduled for March 7 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Dieterich Bank Corporate Center at 300 Sur Woods Drive in Effingham.
The cost of this event is $15 for Forefront members and $25 for non-members.

Fundraising events can generate major revenue for nonprofit organizations, but the planning and organizing of such an event can be confusing.
This session will cover the 10 steps to successful event planning, including soliciting for corporate sponsorship and including events within an organization’s formal fundraising strategy.
Full participation in Events That Raise Money is applicable for 2 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
