Effingham Chief of Police Jeffrey Fuesting announced today the promotion of Troy Bloemker from the rank of Sergeant to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant
Bloemker is a 22-year police veteran. He has previously served as a Patrol Officer and Patrol Squad Supervisor. Lieutenant Bloemker serves as the Department’s Firearms Range Master and Department Armor.
Lieutenant Bloemker will assume the responsibility as one of two Bureau Commanders in the Bureau of Patrol. Chief Fuesting stated,“I’m proud of Lieutenant Bloemker’s work ethic and I look forward to seeing his Patrol Squads grow under his leadership.”
Lieutenant Bloemker will begin his new duties on February 25th.
Effingham Chief of Police Jeffrey Fuesting announced today the promotion of Tom Webb from the rank of Patrolman to the rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Webb is a 10-year police veteran. He has previously served as a Patrol Officer. Sergeant Webb is a graduate of Southern Illinois University.
Chief Fuesting stated,“Sergeant Webb is assuming responsibilities of a very important position in the Department and I look forward to seeing him develop into his new role as a supervisor.”
Sergeant Webb will begin his new duties on February 25th.
