(Urbana, IL) — The case against Aaron Schock is a little smaller. A federal judge yesterday dismissed two counts against the former congressman. One count dealt with an interpretation of Congressional rules, the judge said the other count was too broad. Schock is charged with lying about misspending government and campaign money. Even with the dismissal, Schock is facing 20 other charges. The ruling though may delay his trial, which was supposed to begin in January.
