(Springfield, IL) — School districts across Illinois are finally caught up with last year’s state aid checks. The Illinois Comptroller’s office yesterday said that they sent the last of the FY-17 categorical payments. That’s money for things like school buses, special education, and school lunches. The comptroller says most schools in the state are also up to date on this year’s categorical payments as well.
