A 20 year old, Shumway man was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections this week.
On Tuesday, Coleton Price appeared in Effingham County Court for his sentencing hearing. We spoke with Effingham County State’s Attorney, Bryan Kibler, in regards to Price’s case. According to Kibler, Price faced three years in prison after he tried driving a vehicle towards an officer. Price was sentenced to two years for Aggravated Assault of a Peace Officer with credit for 43 days served. After his release, Price will serve a year of Mandatory Supervised Release, or Parole.
