One of the men charged with the murder of a Windsor man is set to appear in Macon County Court today.
27 year old, Jason Alex White is set to appear in court today for a preliminary hearing in the Macon County Court. White appeared in court of September 19th for his arraignment where he was made aware of the charges against him and their possible sentences. Jason Alex White is charged with four counts of Murder and one count of Armed Robbery with a Firearm following the August murder of a Windsor man.
White, along with 20 year old, Ryan Waters and 26 year old, Autumn Billings, all of Decatur were arrested by the Decatur Police Department in September for their suspected involvement in the murder of Zachary Hubbartt, of Windsor. We spoke with Macon County State’s Attorney, Jay Scott, following the arrests. According to Attorney Scott, if convicted, White faces 20-60 years plus an additional 25 years to life as he allegedly fired the gun that killed Hubbartt. Hubbartt was discovered on August 27th after he had been shot numerous times in a Decatur Home.
