Three Effingham residents were arrested on Friday in connection with a narcotics sales investigation.
We spoke with Effingham Police Chief Fuesting on Monday. According to Chief Fuesting, the Effingham Police Department acted on a search warrant in the 1000 block of Franklin in an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotic sales. During their investigation, Effingham police officers took three individuals into custody. Additionally, Chief Fuesting stated that illegal narcotics and US currency believed to be proceeds from illegal narcotic sales were seized.
The three individuals taken into custody are 18 year old, Noah A Rebollo, 41 year old, Kellie Rebollo, and 20 year old, Erica Guthrie. Kellie Rebollo and Erica Guthrie were charged with possession of cannabis plants, while Noah Rebollo was charged with delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis and possession of cannabis plants.
All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
