Over $6,500 was raised in June for CEFS Meals on Wheels.
On June 10th, the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department held their annual Sheriff’s Posse Ride. Through the help of the many local merchants, the motorcycle fundraiser raised $5,011 for CEFS Meals on Wheels. This donation will provide more than 800 meals to senior citizens in Effingham County. Additionally, this donation will ensure that at least one person checks in on these seniors every day.
