The Effingham County Board will vote on a suggested amendment to the liquor ordinance at their meeting on Monday.
The amendment to the liquor ordinance was discussed and recommended for approval at the Legislative/Personnel Committee meeting on Tuesday. The amendment would change the times that liquor can be sold in the County on Sundays. The times would, then, match that of the City of Effingham.
Additionally, the County Board will set the date for Law Day. They will also discuss and act on the University of Illinois Extension budget, the Public Transportation grant application, and several Fire District appointees.
The Effingham County Board will meet in the Effingham County Office Building at 4:00pm on Monday.
