Cumberland had a slow second quarter but it didn’t stop Cumberland from getting the 71-64 win against Martinsville. Cumberland was up at the end of the first quarter 24-12 but was outscored by Martinsville 17-8 in the second quarter to lead 32-29 at the half. Cumberland then outscored Martinsville in the third quarter 22-17 to take a 54-46 lead into the fourth. Martinsville was able to outscore Cumberland 18-17 in the fourth quarter but Cumberland was able to get the win. Cumberland was led by Tyson Magee who had 19 points off the bench. Connor Butler added 15 points and Zach Wolke had 14 points. Cumberland is now 13-9 on the season and will head to Oblong on Friday.
