On January 1st, 1892, the Ryman Auditorium opened in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally named, the Union Gospel Tabernacle, the Ryman has many performers, such as Elvis Presley and the Carter Sisters. After the Grand Ole Opry outgrew their radio studio, it was held at the Ryman until the opening of the Grand Ole Opry House in 1974. This year, Little Big Town will become the venue’s first artists-in-residence. Many music videos have been recorded at the Ryman Auditiorium, such asĀ I Don’t Dance by Lee Brice. Check it out below!
