The Effingham Park District Board will meet on Wednesday, November 2nd at 6:30pm.
During the meeting, the board will review a new lease agreement for the Evergreen Mini-Golf Course. The Board had previously said no to a ten year lease with the current owners of the course, Mark and Julie Pike. The Pikes have been in the process of selling the miniature golf course; however, most buyers were not interested unless the ten year lease was renewed. Adam Huston owns Livin’ it Up Transportation and is interested in buying the miniature golf course if the Park District Board can commit to a five year lease. Other items that are up for discussion at the Park District Board meeting is the Tax Levy Ordnance that will be voted on for passage in December and the maintenance agreement for the TREC Trail. The Board will also hear park maintenance reports and will review program and facility rental fees for 2017 in the Director’s Reports.
The Effingham Park District Board meets in the Ron Diehl Center which is located at 1906 S Fourth St in Effingham.
