The Effingham County Board will meet in full session Monday at 4 p.m. in the third floor meeting room at the County Building to discuss the possible installation of a Library Book Vending Machine in lobby of the building.
Other agenda items include the proclamation of National 4-H Week, approving 2017 County Holidays, combining the Grant Committee with the Economic Development Advisory Board, a donation to support Manufacturing Days, and approval of a supplemental list of election judges.
Several appointments will also be voted on during Monday’s meeting. Linda Ruholl is up for a position on the Health Board for a two year term. Carol Warfield is up to replace Dr. James Gartner on the 708 Board until the end of a 2018 term and Todd Hull is up for a position on the Economic Development board for a two year term.
The board will also consider awarding a bid for resurfacing Lake Sara Road and approving final plats for the Timberwood Subdivision and the St. Francis Subdivision.
