The Cubs couldn’t get the offense going and fell to the Dodgers 3-2.
The Cubs got on the board in the first on a Rizzo RBI single. The Dodgers tied the game in the bottom of the first on a Seager solo home run. The Dodgers then got two runs in the third on RBI singles from Utley and Turner to make it 3-1. The Cubs got a RBI single from Heyward in the seventh to make it 3-2.
Urias got the win improving to 5-2 on the season. Urias gave up 1 runs on 6 hits while striking out 8 and walking 2 over 6 innings. Hammel took the loss falling to 13-7 on the year. Hammel gave up 3 runs on 5 hits while striking out 1 over 2 and 1/3 innings.
The Cubs will finish their series with the Dodgers today at 3:10.
