(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner’s administration says pension managers for teachers could devastate the state’s next budget by lowering their investment expectations. But Rauner’s team says lowering the rate now tomorrow only cost more. The administration says hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake.
